Ovolo Group has announced it will be bringing its innovative hotel brand Mojo Nomad to Australia with the launch of Mojo Nomad South Yarra in Melbourne in mid-2020.

The Mojo Nomad brand positions itself as “unapologetically different”, offering a micro hotel experience for travellers who enjoy community living.

The Melbourne hotel will offer 100 rooms made up of an “eclectic mix” of accommodation from beds, rooms, large rooms to suites options.

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s cultural hub of South Yarra and Toorak, Mojo Nomad is close by Chapel St and public transport hubs.

The hotel was designed by Woods Bagot Architect, while renowned interior designers Luchetti Krelle have crafted each room with “a distinct personality”.

The shared rooms offer the “utmost in privacy” within the confined space with privacy screens, TVs, reading lights and Bluetooth headphone capabilities.

The hotel offers Stylish communal spaces along with residential areas that also include a cinema room, library, gym and lounge.

The Mojo Nomad has been “extremely well received” since its inception in Hong Kong from 2017 and already operates two Mojo Nomad properties in the city.

Ovolo has start the 12-month building project for Mojo Nomad South Yarra, with a view to launch to market in mid-2020.
