You never need to travel alone again… well at least your friends won’t think you’re travelling alone with the new ‘selfie arm’.
We’re not joking, this is actually a thing.
And yes, it’s an arm to take photos with – nothing else (naughty naughty).
As you can see above, it’s essentially a selfie stick that’s in the shape of an arm.
You attach your phone to the top and then wrap your hands around it and take the ‘selfie’.

The ‘selfie arm’ was no doubt inspired by popular images of this model grabbing her photographer boyfriend’s arm.
The inspiration, no doubt comes from the successful photographer whose Instagram account blew up after snapping pictures of his girlfriend holding onto his hand in various destinations around the world (picture above – it’s a real hand).
Artists behind the ‘selfie arm’, Aric Snee and Justin Crowe said they were fascinated by the ‘constant, gnawing need for narcissistic International validation’, particularly amongst people that didn’t want to look like they were taking a selfie on their own.
Social media users have conflicting responses to the new device, with some seeing it as ‘kinda creepy’, while others can’t wait to get their hands on it (pun intended).
Selfie arm…or as I like to call it…weirdo walking around with mannequin parts.

People say they’re creeped out by it now, but we feel like they’re going to be the first ones to purchase it.
