Independent Travel Group (ITG) has confirmed that two more italktravel stores will be coming onboard, taking the number of stores in WA to six and nationally to 30.

The two new additions are Jetset Midland, which will be rebranded to italktravel Midland and Travelworld, which will change to italktravel Kununurra

Dave Ahlhauser, Sales Director of the Midland store and with over 24 years experience in travel said he is looking forward to the conversion and working with italktravel’s ‘flexibility and independence’.

“I’m looking forward to enjoying… specifically the low costs and high return, based on our exclusive territory, and guaranteed air and land supplier contracts, plus a profit share bonus after the first year!”

Ronnie Malthouse, General Manager of the store who has been in the industry for 37 years, previously having owned five travel agencies, said that the “team can’t wait to become italktravel Midland from Friday.”

Excited about the uploading additions, ITG CEO, Tom Manwaring said joining the company gives franchisees the ability to manage their own marketing across all mediums ranging from website, to print, radio, social media and sponsorships within their local community and within their fields of expertise.

He said this is particularly of significant benefit to the agent and to their customers.

With the two new stores, ITG has reported that it is on track to achieve its target of 70 out of 100 stores by the end of 2015.

Other italktravel stores in WA are located in North Perth, Narrogin, Hillarys and Rockingham.
