Industry professionals are being urged to book their spot at CINZ Meetings 2015, as hosted buyer spots fill fast.
The annual event is this year being held in Auckland from 10-11 June.
Buyers applications close on 10 April, but according to organisers are already almost sold out.
Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Chief Executive Sue Sullivan said demand has been high from both exhibitors and buyers wanting to be part of New Zealand’s largest business events trade show.
This year, there are 90 spots for Australian buyers and another 90 for New Zealand buyers.
Tourism New Zealand and Air New Zealand are bringing more than 35 international buyers, and have reported a surge of interest from North American incentive buyers.
Australian hosted buyers have been quick to sign up for eight pre-tours of the regions – Hamilton and Waikato, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Canterbury, Queenstown, and Dunedin.
This year, attendees can also expect a range of new stands, with new exhibitors including several from Northland and Wanaka joining MEETINGS for the first time.
There’s also the return of the luxury section – The Luxury Collection – a highly successful new feature launched at MEETINGS last year.
Organisers say it has established itself as the one of the premium opportunities for the country’s luxury operators.
“Our Australian guests see this as a really valuable opportunity to relax and experience the regions first hand before they get down to work at MEETINGS.”
Sue Sullivan, CINZ CEO
Another key highlight this year will be the social programme, which will showcase New Zealand’s renowned hospitality and creative talent through networking opportunities.
Air New Zealand is the Principal Sponsor for CINZ MEETINGS 2015, renewing its ongoing commitment to the sector and to the Hosted Buyer Programme.
The event’s other major sponsors are ASB Showgrounds, Peek Exhibition and Centium Software.
