itravel’s 2025 conference has wrapped up another year in Sydney, bringing together a dynamic mix of travel advisors, industry leaders and suppliers for two days of networking, learning and of course, a lot of fun. Karryon joined the festivities.
Held at Sofitel Darling Harbour over two jam-packed days, the event focused on the theme “The Power of You”, reinforcing itravel’s mission to support and empower its members – and that membership base is rising, with the group witnessing 24 per cent growth last year and new members already joining in 2025.
But as itravel celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2025, this year’s event carried even greater significance. To mark the milestone, delegates attended a special gala dinner at Centennial Homestead, honouring the group’s continued success.

However, the 2025 conference wasn’t just about reflections; it was also about looking forward. To this end, participants were treated to insightful keynotes and industry panels, covering the latest trends and business strategies.
A packed speaker line-up on day one included ATIA (Australian Travel Industry Association) CEO Dean Long, itravel CEO Steve Labroski and an expert panel from brands like Celebrity Cruises, CVFR and Gate 7, while day two saw speakers from Intrepid, TTC Tour Brands, Brand USA and keynote Michael McQueen take to the stage with engaging presentations.

Elsewhere, attendees connected with major suppliers including Qatar Airways, Royal Caribbean, Viking, Ponant, TTC Tour Brands, G Adventures, Accor, Shangri-La and CVFR while one-on-one supplier meetings ensured agents gained valuable product insights.
Other highlights from the conference included a glitzy welcome event at Sofitel’s Champagne Bar.
“Celebrating 30 years of itravel is a testament to the incredible advisors and partners who have shaped our success,” Labroski said.
“This conference reinforced our commitment to empowering our network with the support and tools they need to thrive.
“The future of itravel is brighter than ever, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”
