1. Up to 25% off car hire

It’s summer sale time with Hertz! The car hire company is offering hot discounts on rentals for pick up or use in more than 100 countries.

For bookings made until January 30, 2015, customers will enjoy discounts up to 25 percent for qualifying domestic or outbound rentals in Europe and the Middle East, up to 20 percent for Asia and 15 percent in Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

The rentals made through the sale will also qualify for loyalty points and reward days through the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program.

The Hertz Summer Sale is available at participating locations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, while discounted Hertz van rental is also offered in France, Italy and Spain. Savings will be applied by quoting the customer discount promotion (CDP) code “999940” when booking online at www.hertz.com or by calling Hertz.

The Hertz Summer Sale includes rentals on a wide range of vehicles from economical city cars to family hatchbacks, luxury vehicles and people carriers. Many locations are also providing discounts on Hertz’s popular Prestige, Fun, Family and Green Collections. Customers renting from the Prestige and Fun Collections can also benefit from Hertz’s Make and Model Guarantee, meaning that they will drive away the exact car they chose when booking.

The offer excludes the US and Canada and is valid on new vehicle hire any time from now until 31 March 2015.

 

2. Pandaw’s 20th anniversary sale

Pandaw is celebrating its 20th year in river cruising with major savings on a number of Southeast Asian sailings.

The cruise line has taken 25 percent off 100 staterooms on selected cruise departures on the Irrawaddy and Mekong on new bookings made by 31 January this year.

Among the itineraries travellers can save on is the popular 14-night Irrawaddy cruise departing from Rangoon to Mandalay on 2 August. Sailing aboard 48-passenger Pandaw II, the ship takes cruisers from Rangoon to Mandalay with stops in Prome, Sale, Pagan and more.

A 20 percent saving is also available on the 10-night Laos Mekong cruise departing 11 December 2015 aboard Laos Mekong.

The cruise is priced from US$2,600 and takes guests from Vientane to Chiangrai.

 

3.  Cook-ing up great deals

Cook Islands Tourism has partnered with Travel Associates to promote the best of the Cook Islands throughout January.

Alert your clients to these Indulgent Escapes to the Cooks.  The campaign offers nine land-only packages, leading with seven nights at Rarotonga’s Crown Beach Resort & Spa from $2419 pp twin share including one free night, breakfast daily and a resort credit of NZ$350.

4. Emirates’ new year offers

Emirates is offering economy class return fares from Australia beginning at $362 to New Zealand, $719 to Asia, $1,098 to India, $1,575 to Europe, $1,680 to South Africa, $1,761 to the UK, $1,883 to Dubai and $1,974 to North America.

Business class return fares from Australia start at $1,242 to New Zealand, $2,978 to Asia, $6,029 to India, $7,019 to South Africa, $7,673 to Dubai, $7,738 to Europe, $7,980 to the UK and $8,875 to North America.

Bookings to all destinations across Emirates’ network should be made before 13 January 2015, for travel between 16 January and 30 November 2015.

5. Save on food & wine tours

6. Ski and sleep seven nights for the price of six
