Virgin Australia has today launched its ‘Let The Good Times Fly’ sale, with over 1.9 million fares from just $75, to celebrate the reopening of the Queensland border to all of New South Wales

To coincide with the Queensland border reopening to all of New South Wales today, Virgin Australia has dropped a massive sales blitz, with more than 1.9 million domestic economy fares from just $75, and increased services between Sydney and some of the Sunshine State’s most popular travel destinations.

Let The Good Times Fly sale fares are available to book at virginaustralia.com until midnight AEST Monday 8 February 2021, or until sold out.

“The reopening of borders provides Australian travellers with another opportunity to go on a holiday, reconnect with loved ones, and to conduct business,” A Virgin Australia Spokesperson said.

“Open borders also means more jobs for our people, and we want to get as many of our stood down crew back to work as soon as possible, and so we’re doing everything in our power to get Australians travelling again, and that starts with a great value fare that includes baggage, seat selection and Velocity Frequent Flyer points,” they continued.

From today, Virgin Australia has commenced additional services between Sydney and popular Queensland destinations such as the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, Hamilton Island and Brisbane.

The airline has also increased its services between Sydney and Melbourne and says it will continue to review travel demand and its network schedule to meet the needs of VA customers.

Virgin Australia will also be offering flexibility for travel until 30 June 2021.

“We’ve seen many traveller’s plans impacted by domestic border restrictions and so we’re here to give them comfort when booking a Virgin Australia flight that they’ll be able to change the date of their travel if they need to.”

Virgin Australia Let The Good Times Fly sale ends midnight AEST Monday 8 February 2021 with fares for select travel dates and destinations between March and September 2021.

All fares include checked baggage, seat selection and Velocity Frequent Flyer points.
