Fiji Airways & Qantas are vying for their share of the Australian market into Fiji, with yet another massive sale on non-stop services to the island nation.

The country’s national airline, Fiji Airways, kicked off the airfare battle when it followed up a celebrity-infused Fiji Water campaign at the Golden Globes with a 2-for-1 sale to Nadi or Suva. The deal went bonkers with Aussies visiting their consultants to book $999 return flights.

Qantas was quick to respond to the special offer by announcing its long-awaited return to Fiji, with a non-stop Sydney-Nadi service and a special $269 one-way launch offer.

Quick to retaliate, Fiji Airways has announced a ‘Love is in the Air…fare’ campaign, through which travellers can receive up to 59 percent off flights.

Running from 26 January to 9 February 2018 (just in time for Valentine’s Day) the discounted flights are available on services from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Hong Kong, and Singapore to Fiji.

Through the offer, travellers from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne can book flights to Nadi from AU$569 return or Sydney to Suva from AU$669 return.

Kiwis can save hundreds with Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch flights to Nadi selling from NZ$590 return, and Auckland to Suva from NZ$745 return.

‘Love is in the Air…fare’ prices are available for travel through December 2019 and are available through a Travel Advisor, the airline’s call centre or website.
