There’ll be no shortage of choice for Australians travelling to the UK as Etihad Airways adds a fourth daily service to London Heathrow.
Announced this morning, Etihad’s additional flight will take off from 27 October 2019.
According to the airline, it’ll offer another convenient connection for Australians flying over Abu Dhabi to the UK.

WHAT’S WITH THE ADDITIONAL DAILY FLIGHT?
Robin Kamark, Etihad Aviation Group Chief Commercial Officer, describes flights from Abu Dhabi to London as “tremendously popular”. This is the case among leisure and business travellers.
He said that the additional flight will provide “much-needed capacity” while also allowing the airline to optimise timings and provide easier connections.
“The new service demonstrates our commitment to the crucially important UK market.”

WHICH AIRCRAFT WILL ETIHAD USE?
The airline will introduce a next-generation, two-class Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on one of its four daily London services.
The aircraft is configured with 299 seats – 28 Business Studios and 271 Economy Smart Seats. This complements the three other services which are operated by Etihad’s 486-seat Airbus A380s.
