Hawaiian Airlines has made a significant announcement, revealing the appointment of Andrew Stanbury as the new Managing Director for International and North America Sales.
Andrew previously held the position of Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand. In his new role, he will now take on the responsibility of leading Hawaiian Airlines’ expanding sales operations across their 11 international destinations. This will include Australia and New Zealand, as well as 15 U.S. mainland gateways.
Having joined Hawaiian Airlines in January 2019, Andrew brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Before joining the airline, he served as the Executive General Manager for Global Sales and Marketing at Fiji Airways. During his tenure, he oversaw a range of passenger revenue-related functions, including international sales teams, distribution, reservations, and loyalty programs.
Andrew’s impressive career also includes eight years with Air New Zealand, where he held various management positions. Notably, he was responsible for overseeing the marketing and corporate sales teams across Australia. With his extensive background in the aviation industry, Andrew is well-equipped to take on the challenges of his new position.
Andrew will continue to be based in Sydney, Australia. This will allow him to maintain his presence here and leverage his local expertise. This strategic decision aligns with Hawaiian Airlines’ commitment to providing seamless customer service. It will also undoubtedly help towards his maintaining strong relationships with partners in the region.
As the new Managing Director for International and North America Sales, Stanbury will play a crucial role in driving the airline’s sales activities and fostering relationships with key partners and stakeholders. With Hawaiian Airlines’ ever-growing network of destinations, including popular tourist hotspots and major business hubs, Stanbury’s leadership will be instrumental in securing and expanding the airline’s market share.
