Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) big start to 2023 continues with the announcement that Chris Catanzariti will join the company as Business Development Manager for NSW, ACT and SA.
In his role, Catanzariti will report to NCL senior sales manager Australia and New Zealand, Angela Middleton.
Catanzariti comes to the cruise line with plenty of travel industry experience, having previously plied his trade at G Adventures, Back-Roads, American Airlines and Evolution Travel Collective.
In these roles, he worked on marketing, sales, partnerships and event strategies, as well as building relationships with key travel partners.
More recently, he has expanded his skills in positions at OZHarvest and BridgeClimb Sydney.

“Providing the best support and expertise to our valued travel partners requires having the best people and we are thrilled to welcome a professional of Chris’s calibre to the NCL team”, NCL Director of Sales Australia and New Zealand Damian Borg said.
“Chris brings a wealth of experience to his new role and is highly respected by industry peers, colleagues and clients.”
Catanzariti says he is “delighted to join the NCL team at such a pivotal time for the brand, having just welcomed Norwegian Spirit to Australian waters while counting down to the debut of NCL’s second Prima Class ship, Norwegian Viva later this year”.
“I look forward to bringing to life NCL’s ‘Partners First’ philosophy while working closely alongside our valued trade partners on this incredible brand,” he added.
Earlier in the month, Norwegian appointed Jason Krimmel as Vice President of International.
It also recently announced a record 13 back-to-back event cruises on Norwegian Pearl in 2023.
NCL returned to Australian waters for the first time in three years in December, with the arrival of the Norwegian Spirit in Sydney.
