Norwegian Cruise Line set sail on a different kind of journey the day prior to the NTIA awards, treating its partners to a day of collaboration, celebration, and fun. Karryon reports from on deck.
The Norwegian Cruise Line event was designed to thank the dedicated companies that contribute to the cruise line’s success, underscoring the vital role of unity in the industry – both onshore and offshore.
The Sydney weather turned it on for a beautiful outdoor venture that started with a cruise on a chartered vessel Zephyr Star from Newport in Sydney’s Pittwater region.

En route, we feasted on an amazing fruit and charcuterie platter, before making our way to The Boathouse Hotel Patonga on the Central Coast for a gourmet lunch.

Our exclusive group was hosted by Norwegian Cruise Line executives Damian Borg, Angela Middleton and Tahlia Shaw.
We were treated to a day of casual planning sessions, fresh cuisine, and plenty of time to relax and catch up with one another.
On arriving back in Sydney, there was time for relaxation before Ben Angell, Vice President Sales APAC joined the group for a dining experience at 6Head.

The get together was organised not only to thank Norwegian Cruise Line loyal trade partners, but also to reinforce NCL’s commitment to the spirit of collaboration that drives the cruise industry forward.
The NCL leadership team made sure to deliver a heartfelt message: the brand’s success wouldn’t be possible without the tireless efforts and loyalty of its partners.

At a time when the travel industry continues to navigate waves of change, events like this serve as a reminder that collaboration is key. In the spirit of “smooth sailing,” NCL’s thank-you retreat is a testament to how collective effort and shared vision can create lasting impact.

At the end of a full and fun week of industry get-togethers, conferences and award ceremonies it is a great reminder that we are all one big fabulous industry and that a rising tide floats all boats.
NCL also hosted these industry partners at the Karryon Glam Club pre-NTIA event and at NTIA as part of Glam Club for the third consecutive year.
In September, NCL hosted a popular lunar-themed event to celebrate its newest Prima class vessel, Norwegian Luna.
