ONE MONTH TO GO: Scenic reveals two new itineraries on Scenic Eclipse

One month out from the launch of the long-awaited Scenic Eclipse (aka the world’s first Discovery Yacht), the luxury cruise company has revealed details of two new itineraries.

One month out from the launch of the long-awaited Scenic Eclipse (aka the world’s first Discovery Yacht), the luxury cruise company has revealed details of two new itineraries.

The new itineraries are the 13-day Taste of Caribbean (Departing October 8 2019) and the 11-day Colombia & Panama exploration (Departing October 20, 2019).

The 13-day Tase of Caribbean sailing departs from Nassau, Bahamas and wraps up in Miami.

Scenic-Eclipse

Port calls will include Long Island with its stunning cliffs, long white sand beaches and coral reefs; Great Inagua Island, home to 140 species of native and migratory birds and Guanaja Island in Honduras, a top destination for snorkelling.

The 11-day Colombia & Panama sailing will depart from Miami and finish in Cartagena, Colombia.

The cruise will spot in at Key West before heading to Central America, where travellers can explore Belize City and Roatan Island.

Other ports include Costa Rica’s Puerto Limón, where guests visit the Jaguar Rescue Centre and Sloth Sanctuary; the San Blas Islands and Isla de Providencia.

Scenic Eclipse 2

Everything is in line for the luxury discovery yacht to lunch on August 15 before it spends six weeks sailing along the North American east coast.

The Polar Class 6 ship will boast 114 all-verandah suites; and 10 dining options – from Asian Fusion to French cuisine.

There will also be a spa, gym and separate yoga and Pilates studio, two six-guest helicopters and one six-guest submarine.
