Travellers struggling to balance all their Las Vegas must-dos should really take a deep breathe, relax & find their chakra on a circulation of the world’s tallest observation wheel.
Only in Las Vegas does that unusual collection of activities actually make complete sense.
Caesars Palace recently merged yoga and sightseeing together to offer guests a truly unique wellness experience – a 60-minute Vasana session on the High Roller Observation Wheel.
Called ‘Silent Vasana’, the one-hour yoga offer invites tourists to put on a pair of headphones, step into an observation pod and follow pose directions as they soar 550-feet above the famous Strip.
Described as a “soothing yet energising” experience, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s Kala Peterson said that it’s one of the many new wellness options available in the city that meets demand for the fast-growing style of travel.
Chatting to KARRYON at IPW in Anaheim earlier this month, Peterson explained that the city is working hard to find a balance between entertainment, party, culinary and wellness – all of which are “huge trends” among Vegas visitors.
Other wellness initiatives include the “very popular” Vitamic C showers and air purification systems in ‘stay well rooms’ found inside The Mirage, MGM Grand and Park MGM.
There’s also been a rise in Celebrity Chefs opening restaurants across the city, which Peterson believes has transformed the destination’s culinary scene away from indulgence or abundance to one of quality and selection.
And of course, there’s the entertainment, which continues to amaze every year including 2019 during which a number of top female and male artists have signed up for residencies such as Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Madonna and more.
