Emirates’ 4.5 star rated iPad App is now available on iPhone, allowing travellers to check-in and check flight information on their mobile.
The Emirates App can be purchased from the App Store, by searching for ‘Emirates’.
Features include push notifications for flight boarding, gate changes and baggage belt numbers.
The app has booking functions as well as a seat and meal selector. Frequent Flyer members can check their points and book complimentary chauffer-drive services for first class and business class passengers.
Personal flight details and credit card information is also stored in the app, so users can view information offline.
The iPad version was originally launched earlier this year, and according to the airline is the most popular travel app in 25 countries.
Emirates divisional senior vice president corporate communications Boutros Boutros said the app meets demand from customers who want to use their mobile devices and tablets to book their next holiday.
“We have seen tremendously positive response to both our iPad and iPhone apps to date. Downloads and usage figures continue to rise, and feedback has been good.”

Android users don’t feel left out, the airline is currently working on a version for ‘the market’.
