TourRadar has launched AI Discovery – a suite of three new integrations allowing travellers to book global tour operators’ product inventory through the AI tools they’re already using, including ChatGPT and Instagram, plus a new MCP Server.
With more than 50,000 adventures from 2,500 operators, including G Adventures, Intrepid Travel, Contiki, Topdeck and Globus, the organised adventure platform connects AI travel assistants and social commerce to the high-value and fast-growing touring category.
The product inventory is now AI-conversationally enabled for a better user experience, turning a quick chat with AI or a scroll through Instagram into bookable tours.

The CustomGPT Assistant integration lets travellers and advisors explore any organised adventure in natural language, moving from idea to curated options instantly.
The Trip Recommender for Instagram turns reels into instant booking opportunities for multi-day tours, bridging the gap between inspiration and transaction.
The Instagram integration was inspired by Expedia Group’s trip-matching tool, delivering products that are better suited for individual traveller’s needs.

The new first-of-its-kind MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server makes the platform’s inventory accessible to online travel agents (OTAs) and developers for AI-powered bookings in platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Co-Founder & CEO Travis Pittman said: “This isn’t just about new channels. It’s about building trust and removing friction.”
“Travellers want guidance from AI, inspiration from social and control over their bookings. We’ve built the infrastructure to deliver all three.”

The organised adventure company has spent more than a decade building the industry’s most comprehensive multi-day tour platform, aggregating and connecting operators, agents, creators and travellers through its marketplace, channel manager, APIs, mobile app and payments.
Recent features include TourRadar Moments, an app feature that allows travellers to browse and book trips through real user stories, and the RISE Fund to support travel creators, guides and advisors.
With AI Discovery, it extends that ecosystem to where travellers already dream, scroll and chat.
“Travellers are telling us they want inspiration from social media and guidance from AI, but they also want trust, transparency and control. With AI Discovery, any surface can become a gateway to organised adventures,” Pittman said.
