Wander Kangaroo Island will be the second location for the design-led, eco-pod accommodation with four new WanderPods perched atop Tamar Ridge overlooking nearby Snelling Beach and the Great Australian Bight.

The new South Australia location joins Wander at the Overflow Estate in South-East Queensland’s Scenic Rim to establish a national network of off-grid sustainable and scalable pod accommodation designed to connect travellers with nature and local communities in regional Australia.

CEO Cassandra Sasso said Wander is the sustainable solution where you can land on Country, find space for personal transformation and contribute to regional economic renewal.

“With proven results and feedback from the first location in the Scenic Rim, Queensland, Wander will build on the data and in-field experience to continue our next location on Kangaroo Island, South Australia in 2022,” Ms Sasso said.

“Guests stay in sustainable luxury and simplicity in a WanderPod that is grounded in beautiful and purposeful design and adds to the existing cellar door, restaurant and events at the property.”

Sign up to the Priority Access list to access Wander KI bookings and exclusive deals before the general public.
