By Nahrain John @karryontravel11 Sep 2018From the Taj Mahal to The Great Wall of China, right through to Petra, the Colosseum, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza and Christ the Redeemer.Travellers will be able to tick all seven of the iconic sites as part of Contiki’s newest 82-day round-the-world trip.Revealed today is the youth tour operator’s ‘New7Wonders’ itinerary, which is appropriately named because it allows travellers to tick off all seven new wonders of the world.Starting in Delhi on 24 March 2019, young travellers will visit the Taj Mahal.Before flying over to China for a walk along the Great Wall of China.From there, it’s a trip to Central America to explore the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza.Followed by a trek of Machu Picchu in Peru.And then a meeting of the grand statue of the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.From South America, it’s a flight to the Middle East where the ruins of the historical and archaeological city of Petra await. And then it all comes to an end, 82 days later (13 June 2019), in the Roman amphitheater known as The Colosseum.
