By Nahrain John @karryontravel07 Jul 2016AAT Kings has ripped the seats from one of its coaches and replaced them with lounges and a piano as part of new, musical way to sell more tours. The retro-fitted AAT Kings coach aka the First Mobile Piano Bar will travel up and down the East Coast of Australia, parking at Agencies and urging consumers to hop on board for a bit of karaoke before booking a holiday. Hitting the road earlier this week. the coach will travel to over 30 regional and coastal towns over the next four weeks including stops in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide plus a number of places in between, from Ballina to Bairnsdale and Toowoomba to Traralgon. Once they’ve boarded the AAT Kings Mobile Piano Bar, guests can sit back and enjoy the music, dance or take part in a little karaoke. Either way they’re going to have a lot of fun. Anthony Hayes, Managing Director of AAT Kings, said the company is aiming to recreate the “sense of community and spirit” in a unique venue. “We love our iPhones and Spotify playlists as much as anyone but we also remember a time when the musical entertainment came from the piano in the corner of the bar of the pub and locals joined in when they knew the words – and often when they didn’t.” Anthony Hayes, AAT Kings Managing Director This is the second ‘world first’ mobile coach for AAT Kings, following the hugely popular Mobile Indoor Lawn Bowls Green that traversed Australia in 2014. Anthony Hayes said that while they want Australians to have fun, it’s also an important opportunity to engage with regional travel partners Click here for a full list of destinations, dates and times.
