Sixty lucky Australian travel agents touched down in San Francisco overnight for Qantas Holidays’ Race Around Northern California famil, which kicked off this week.
Named after iconic Northern Californian sporting teams the four groups for this year’s Race Around are The Kings, The Warriors, 49ers and The Giants. Showing their team spirit, the 60 excited agents were sporting their special team jackets when they arrived in San Francisco.
The Race Around teams travelled on QF73 to San Francisco and will now visit iconic locations including Napa Valley, Sonoma, North Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Sacramento before crossing the finish line and attending a glitzy, gala dinner together in San Francisco on 20th March.
Fiona Dalton, Qantas Holidays’ Head of Sales says the Race Around 2016 in Northern California is anticipated to be a huge success.
