Life as a Travel Agent – it’s a tough one because on the one hand you couldn’t picture yourself doing anything else, but on the other there’s, well, there’s the bizarre sh#t.

It’s the bat-crazy customer complaints like “my hotel room had a scratch on the door and it ruined my entire trip” and the borderline psycho demands from customers blasting you over an error with their online booking.

There’s the advice your constantly handing over just so people can rush home and book themselves, and there’s the persistent price matching.

Oh and let’s not forget that while you do come across as magical beings, unfortunately you don’t have the Harry Potter ability to solve all issues, especially when an itinerary was planned and paid elsewhere.

To be fair, not all clients are a nightmare – there are those beautiful few that appreciate all the good you do. And some Travel Agents do find ways to take advantage of online screw ups by converting online bookers into loyal customers.
