Excite Holidays has teamed up with Washington DC’s local representatives, Gate 7, to reward travel agents that sell the destination.
Speaking to consultants and media in Sydney yesterday, Director of Sales and Marketing, Joana Bonto, revealed the new relationship would see the two work together to create Washington DC packages and run incentives to entice agents.
She said the announcement comes after conducting research with consultants to find out how they can better assist them in their sales.

According to Lisa, over the last year DC has seen ‘phenomenal growth’ for the Australian market.
She said this was mainly due to increased funding to develop the local market.
Fun facts: DC is only a five hours drive from NYC or just under three hours on express train from Philadelphia.
It is a walkable city because of its compact nature and is surrounded by Virginia and Maryland.
Right in the centre there is the US capital building powerhouse of the western world.
