Sunrise’s trip around the world continues & Flight Centre’s Social Media Specialist, Millie Yervantian is right alongside them. Here’s her day four blog from Niagara Falls.

We landed in Buffalo at midnight and it was straight onto the bus, which took us across the US/Canada border. We jumped out just after 1.00am to get our passports stamped and then continued on until we reached the Marriott Gateway at the Falls and checked in at 2.00am.

After a full night’s sleep, Sunrise headed straight onto the Hornblower boat, where we donned red raincoats and cruised past the American and the Horseshoe Falls, which make up the spectacular Niagara Falls.

The mist started to fly in thick and fast as the cameras were rolling, but Kochie and Sam persevered and embraced the cool Canadian welcome.

There was even a special Titanic moment between the two…

Coming off absolutely drenched, it was back into hair and makeup for Sam and then it was a race against time to make the chopper.

Kochie, Sam, Nat and Beretta just made it to the chopper, which flew them above Niagara Falls for the best views of one of the seven natural wonders of the natural world.

Then it was straight to the outside broadcast site above Niagara Falls to go live.

We had a crowd of Aussies come down to see us and the cash cow even had a quick game of cricket. We met Miss Canada and then indulged in some Canadian Ice Wine, Bacon Maple Doughnuts and Maple Syrup tarts.

Once the show was over we had the lovely surprise that our transfer bus was not able to cross the Canadian border, so we were left without a ride to Toronto.

Sally from Flight Centre and Dacien from Sunrise quickly ordered us another, which bought us some time to sit back and enjoy some more of that Canadian Ice Wine. But then we needed to take some cabs instead so… gotta go 🙂
