The countdown to adventure and excitement is on with just days to go to The Global Achievers celebratory weekend in Queenstown.

The agents, hailing from Australia’s metro cities and regional areas to as far-away as Kununurra in Western Australia’s top end have all qualified individually to become this years Global Achievers by being the top sellers of Qantas Holidays, Viva Holidays, Rail Tickets, Travel Indochina and ReadyRooms for Agents.

Their personal reward package includes 12 months of recognition and status as Global Achievers, which begins at this weekend’s lavish event including pre and post famil options to some of New Zealand’s most famous landmarks and experiences.

And with an itinerary naturally missing any work commitments and instead full of immersion in the destination’s highlights, plus nights of fun and festivity, it’s simply all about agents letting their hair down and together enjoying the rewards and recognition of their outstanding efforts over the last year.

The official Global Achievers event kicks off in Queenstown on Friday early evening with a welcome reception and sunset drinks up at the landmark Skyline complex, which boasts stunning panoramic views of The Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown below.

The adventure continues through the day on Saturday with six different activities to entertain and invigorate everyone including the infamous Shotover Jet, zip lining, bungi jumping, a 4WD safari through Lord of the Rings country, inflatable canoes down the Dart River and high country sheep station exploring.

Once everyone’s got their breath back and naturally enjoyed a few local wines and delicacies to see the spring sun set, it’s time to get frocked up for the main black tie event on Saturday evening – The Global Achievers Gala Dinner at Mount Soho Estate.

Just 15 minutes out of Queenstown and nestled amongst the Central Otago landscape, Mount Soho Estate has yet more stunning 360-degree mountain views of the Remarkables, Coronet Peak, the Crown Range and Mount Soho to enjoy.

This time no doubt with a glass (or several) of the wineries famed Pinot Noir in hand at the very special night, which includes an array of surprise musical entertainment, more delicious New Zealand gourmet food and wine, and of course – the Global Achiever awards for overall top sales by state.
