Savvy shoppers snapped up travel bargains galore, and helped raise nearly $10,000 for the travel industry’s number one career accelerator.
The hammer fell on TIME (the Travel Industry Mentor Experience) 2017 Silent Auction raising close to $10,000, funds essential to TIME’s continued identification and development of the travel industry leaders of the future.
“Even though we fell just short of our goal of $10,000, we’re pleased with the result, and so very grateful for the funds”.
Penny Spencer, TIME Founder
“We are a not-for-profit organisation, and all monies that come into the program through sponsorship and fund-raising go directly into TIME,” she added.
“The program enjoys loyal support from sponsors and industry partners whose annual contributions to our auction play a huge role in keeping us going.”
This year, auction items were donated by: Air New Zealand, Hawaiian Airlines, Intrepid Group, Wild Bush Luxury, Club Med, Rail Plus, DriveAway Holidays, Wendy Wu Tours, Amadeus, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, InPlace Recruitment, Leading Hotels of the World, Luna Park, Sydney, Meriton Suites, Opera Australia, Peninsula Boutique Hotel, Port Douglas, Q-Station, Quest Apartments, TFE Hotels, North Sydney Harbourview Hotel, Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Leith Mills and Sandeep Shastri.
