Helloworld has confirmed the resignation of Peter Egglestone, saying he will depart the Company to pursue new opportunities.
Egglestone will remain with the business until the end of June while the company searches for a new Managing Director and Head of Qantas Holidays Wholesale.
In a statement, Egglestone said while his immediate focus was personal, he intended to remain close to the travel sector and looks forward to the next state of his career.
“I’m going to spend the next couple of months following a personal dream and indulging in some property development however I’m always going to be professionally aligned with the travel sector and I’m looking forward to the next stage of my career.”

Meanwhile, helloworld today kicked off its annual helloworld for business Summit in Singapore, with some 120 corporate agents and suppliers.
Held at the Shangri-La, this year’s event is themed ‘Evolution to Revolution’ and will focus on strengthening Member’s skills and abilities.
