Luxury Escapes is setting itself apart from its online competitors by doing something few other online booking sites have done before – meet their clients face-to-face.

The luxury deals website has taken a page out of the Travel Agent’s book by giving travellers the opportunity to meet, greet and book in person during a 21-day roadshow.

Some 2.5 million Australian and Kiwi members will be able to put a face to the website during the 11-city roadshow, while also receive updates on new hotel partners from 13 Luxury Escapes staff members, understand industry trends and receive assistance in purchasing their next holiday.

Holidaymakers may also learn about the site’s new partnerships with TravelManagers and italktravel, and find out whether they can apply as a senior intern with the online business.

The roadshow includes stops in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Wellington, and is supported by Visit Indonesia Tourism Office, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Dubai Tourism.

Luxury Escapes Co-Founder and Chief Executive, Adam Schwab, said the roadshow would be a great way to interact with the site’s database and shatter the perception that sometimes the deals are “too good to be true”.
