1. Young & Fun in South Africa

Infinity Holidays’ 2015/16 South Africa brochure is out with incredible images and a new Young & Fun genre page.

This year, the company also features One Horizon Tours, an organisation that Infinity Cares has teamed up with to provide a community program that really gives back to the community and helps underprivileged women, children and communities.

The brochure also has some new extended tours, including a three-week East African adventure. There’s also four new tours in Cape Town that are unique and involve some delicious food.

New accommodation and game lodges have also been added to the brochure as well as a whole new section on Zimbabwe.

 

2. Silversea showcases the world

Silversea has released two brochures detailing a collection of more than 300 luxury cruises that will sail across the globe in 2015 and the first quarter of 2016. Both print and digital versions of the brochures can be requested by visiting Silversea.com/brochures.

The new 180-page Silversea Cruises brochure is devoted to the elegant ocean-going journeys of Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, and Silver Spirit. It is complemented by a separate 140-page Silversea Expeditions guide, highlighting the extraordinary expedition cruises of Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos, and Silver Discoverer, ships known for exploring some of the world’s most remote regions.

A highlight from the brochure includes the Monte Carlo Grand Prix 2015 itinerary taking guests to the Formula One. There’s also an optional “Monte Carlo Grand Prix” tour during the ship’s overnight visit on 23 May 2015.

Travellers can also enjoy a cruise down the River Thames during the River Thames & Corinth Canal cruise. Sailing on the Silver Cloud, the ship will dock near Tower Bridge in the heart of historic London.

 

3. Cruise to Madagascar

Variety Cruises has released details of a new offering, a 10-day ‘Madagascar & its Mozambique Channelitinerary’ showcasing North West Madagascar in a way the company says no land tour or cruise has before.

Disembarking midyear from either Nosy Be or Diego Suarez, Variety’s choice of ship is perfect for island hopping and getting right into the seldom explored parts of the Mozambique Channel. Travellers will explore the unspoiled Nosy Hara, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Komba, Amber Mountain, Nosy Mitsio and Ankarana National Park.

Tailored excursion packages will also be available – travellers can chose to snorkel or dive and watch an amazing underwater world, visit the Amber Mountain and the Ankarana National Park and discover amazing landscapes such as the famous “Tsingys” areas of Madagascar and sight varieties of lemurs and other fauna.

The itinerary has three departure dates: 15 July and 3 August from Diego Suarez; and 22 July from Nosy Be.

The brochure includes short tours and wedding packages around Fiji such as the South Sea Island Cruise taking travellers from Denarau to snorkel, sail and kayak and enjoy a barbeque on the islands.

 

5. Wendy adds Japan departures

Wendy Wu Tours says it has had such an overwhelming response to Japan group tours for 2015 that it has added an extra departure for both the all-inclusive Japan tours in May next year.

The newly introduced 12-day Essential Japan tour from Tokyo to Kyoto via Fuji Five Lakes will also now depart on May 11, 2015. Packages are available from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and are priced from $7955 per person twin share.

The more comprehensive 14-day itinerary, Discover Japan, also has an added departure of May 6, 2015. It includes visits to Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Takayama, Kanazawa, Nara, Koyasan, Kyoto and Osaka. This tour is also available from the above cities and is priced from $8360 per person twin share.
