Where in the world is Bestjet? It’s the question many are wondering after the online travel agency mysteriously went completely offline this week.
It’s unclear when Bestjet disappeared from the online world, but as of 18 December, the company’s website is inaccessible, with only a white page loading in its place.
Social media pages have also switched off, including the Bestjet Facebook page, which displays a “sorry, this content is not available” notice…
On Twitter, the company’s profile is replaced with a “sorry, that page does not exist” sign.
Bestjet’s Google Plus page is the only web presence currently still active, although it doesn’t appear to have been updated since 2013.
KARRYON attempted to contact owners on a phone number listed on True Local (1300 237 853) but was unable to get through.
Rumours are circulating through the travel industry that the Queensland-based business may have entered administration, as of yet, nothing has been confirmed. The cause of such action is also unclear.
The online agency’s ABN is still active.
