Foodies around Australia are being challenged to ultimate food dare, seriously, it’s so huge it tops any of the incredible feats conquered by Adam Richman on Man v Food (awww, we miss watching him eat).

The dare comes from Intrepid and what the team want you to do is, eat your way around the world.

Yep, around the world. Think you’ve got what it takes?

The challenge is part of the operator’s new ‘Eat the World’ itinerary – a 101-day gastronomic adventure to nine countries.

101 DAYS of food, food and more food in 9 COUNTRIES (India, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, Israel, the Palestine Territories and Morocco)!

Ummm, might need to sign up to Jenny Craig after.

Back to the itinerary. During the ultimate food challenge, participants will chew their way through 150 meals and delicacies from authentic Korean Friend Chicken (KFC – haha) to tacos in Mexico City and Portuguese-inspired flavours in Goa.

Foodies up for the challenge are looking at spending around $33,500 for the entire 101-day trip or they can choose to take part in one of seven smaller tours.

The first tour will run from March to July 2018 and includes 73 breakfasts, 42 lunches and 36 dinners at a range of family-run restaurants, rural homes, temples and monasteries, local markets, street food stalls and hands-on cooking classes. The tour also includes 100 night’s accommodation, over 120 activities and excursions and flights between each destination to help discover each unique cuisine and culture.
