Thirty-five years may have passed, but girls still just want to have fun, the only difference is that these days, some of them want to do it without their male counterparts.
Sorry boys! Adventure World’s offshoot, Exodus Travel, has unveiled its first ever tours for women only, which they say is also the largest collection of female focused trips in the adventure travel industry.
The tour operator said the decision to launch these exclusive trips emerged out of its passion to empower women through travel.
As part of the no-fellas-allowed trips, ladies will be assigned an inspirational female guide who will take them to distant and diverse countries where they will interact and support local women.
It’s an all girl power trip!
Initially, the operator will offer 11 Female-Only Departures visiting destinations such as Iran, China, Myanmar and Peru.
Among the itineraries is the ‘Journey to Persia’ trip taking in Iran’s strong cultural traditions, incredible architecture and rich bazaars. There’s also the ‘Discover Costa Rica’ holiday featuring wildlife encounters and ecolodges, as well as the ‘Highlights of China’ itinerary taking in Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall and more.
