NTIA FINALISTS REVEALED: Who will win at this year's gala?

It's almost that time of the year when hundreds of industry professionals dust off their ballroom-wear and prepare to congratulate the industry's best-of-the-best.

It’s almost that time of the year when hundreds of industry professionals dust off their ballroom-wear and prepare to congratulate the industry’s best-of-the-best.

But before any of that can happen, the best-of-the-best needs to be narrowed down from a list of finalists, which has finally been released.

The 2018 NTIA finalists list was revealed this morning, with a range of familiar names and a few new ones in the running to win one of 38 highly coveted awards.

Among the bigger brands going head-to-head this year are Flight Centre, Helloworld Travel and Travellers Choice, who are fighting it out for ‘Best Travel Agency Group’, while ATAC, Independent Travel Group, Helloworld Business Travel, Magellan Travel and My Travel Group chase after the title of ‘Best Non-Branded Travel Agency Group’.

MTA, Savenio, Travel Counsellors and Travel Partners are all hoping to be named the inaugural winner for ‘Best Travel Broker Network’, and Corporate Travel Management, FCM Travel Solutions as well as QBT are all praying for the title of ‘Best Travel Management Company’.

Andre Moten from Corporate Travel Management and Sam La Rosa from Show Group Enterprise deserve a HUGE pat on the back for making it as finalists in the ‘Best Travel Agency Manager/Corporate Multi-Location’ category, as do Bayden Quinn, Chelsea Badger, Courtney Ashes, Karla Sinclair and Meg Blakey who could be named ‘Young Agent of the Year’.

Finalists will be called into Qantas Headquarters later this month to present to a panel of judges who will determine winners in each category.

Meanwhile, everyone else can submit a ticket request form to attend the Gala Dinner tomorrow.
