Record numbers heading to Helloworld Travel Conference

The Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre is prepared and the final touches are being made to the 2017 Helloworld Travel OMC (Owner Managers Conference) schedule due to kick off in less than a week running from 18 – 20 May.

The Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre is prepared and the final touches are being made to the 2017 Helloworld Travel OMC (Owner Managers Conference) schedule due to kick off in less than a week running from 18 – 20 May.

Numbers are reportedly up on 2016, with more than 650 delegates due to arrive for the annual conference, where the theme this year is ‘We make the difference’.

With the full agenda now released, previously un-announced speaker David Caon, Qantas Designer will be joining an already stellar line up of keynote speakers. With a creative design studio in Sydney, Caon excels at applying design thinking to industrial process. Working with Qantas alongside Marc Newson on the superjumbo’s interiors, as well as the airline’s Singapore and Hong Kong lounges he is now taking the lead on the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

On Friday 19 May The Travel Corporation are hosting an exclusive breakout session called TTC TALKS – focusing on how the TTC Family of Brands can help make a difference for Owner Managers. In the mode of TED TALKS, these authentic and engaging presentations will include insights into how to maximize the offer to clients and earn rewards in the process.

The jam-packed agenda will also see presentations from Kirk Peterson – High Performance Coach, Aaron Goonrey – Partner & Amy Frydenburg – Senior Associate at Lander and Rogers, Amanda Hicks, Principal of Acuity Research & Insights, Russell Howcroft – Partner & Chief Creative Officer at PwC and David Reyne as conference MC.

With evening social activities hosted by Qantas and Etihad Airways, delegates will be walking away from the 2017 Owner Managers Conference networked and prepared to take on the year ahead.
