The world’s leader in sustainable travel, Chimu Adventures, has hooked with the world’s leader in sustainable cruising, Hurtigruten, to make the world a happier & cleaner place.
The pair entered an arrangement this week that’ll see Chimu Adventures promote and wholesale Hurtigruten’s product, including its low carbon vessels cruising the polar regions.
Itineraries that the tour operator will tempt Aussies into booking include the Chilean Fjord and Antarctica White Christmas Adventure, which explores Patagonia, Cape Horn and comes with a free three-day, two-night stay in Buenos Aires.

There’s also the Route of the Polar Pioneers from Norway to Spitsbergen that follows the same path many pioneers took before cruising the fjords.
Chimu Adventures’ Co-Founder, Greg Carter, said he’s excited to work with Hurtigruten and its famed vessels powered by sustainable fuel (including dead fish) such as MS Fram and MS Midnatstol.
Fellow Co-Founder, Chad Carey concurred, saying that by adding Hurtigruten to the portfolio, Chimu Adventures will be able to continue offering “the best itineraries” to Advisors and travellers.
