Those who prefer to hit the road without any plus ones are being catered for in AAT Kings’ new range of trips, which include the brand’s first Guided Holidays for solo travellers.

Woohoo, more choice for those who want to go it alone, without actually going it alone.

As part of AAT Kings’ new 2019 adventures, solo travellers will find options for holidays in Christchurch, Milford Sound, Adelaide, Darwin, Uluru, and more.

According to the travel brand, the new range of options caters to those who want to connect with a group of like-minded travellers, while also take advantage of the convenience and value of a Guided Holiday.

So where specifically will AAT Kings take solo travellers?

There’s a nine-day Southern Wonders escape from Christchurch to Queenstown that includes a TranzAlpine train trip, the Southern Alps, glaciers in Arthur’s Pass as well as the beauty of Milford Souths.

Across the ditch in Australia, there’s a 12-day Perfect Tasmania holiday that takes in Hobart’s Salamanca Markets, Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain National Park and Port Arthur.

Up in the mainland, there’s a 15-day Outback Adventure holiday from Adelaide to Darwin that’ll see guests exploring the underground opal capital of Coober Pedy, Uluru and Kings Canyon rim, while also learning Aboriginal culture and traditions from the Arrernte people in Alice Springs.

Solo travellers can choose to stay in a single room or twin share with another guest of the same gender.
