Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Superman in a… travel agency? The Man of Steel along with his DC buddies, Wonder Woman & Batman, were recently spotted in travel agencies across Aus, but why?
Although one might think they were there to bring justice by booking an overworked Aussie a super holiday, the heroes were actually there to promote Abu Dhabi’s newest attraction – Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.
The theme park opened last week with six immersive ‘lands’ and 29 rides, including a number of activities based around the DC Trinity – Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
During their agency visits, the three heroes provided consultants with information about Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, delivering some much-needed entertainment and even kept them in the loop on Etihad Airways’ incentive through which consultants can win a trip to Abu Dhabi for themselves and their child.
So in a way, they were saving Aussie Agents by equipping them with knowledge to sell the theme park and hopefully visit it themselves.
