Flight Centre is getting into the festive spirit, by offering free cancellation cover and a full refund on all Europe bookings made in November for travel next year.
The special arrangement is part of the agency group’s limited time $149 ‘Captains Platinum’ package.
According to the group, the package aims to offer holiday security to those who may be a little concerned about taking the plunge and securing the bast fare to the continent.
It’s also designed to offer “extra peace of mind” during a time of travel uncertainty.

“Our new Captains Platinum add-on means travellers can lock in a low priced airfare, enjoy the Christmas holiday period and then formalise – or cancel – their plans next year if they wish.
“Flexibility will really drive customer service in 2017 so this is our way of showing we’re listening to our customers.”
To take advantage of the cancellation cover, customers will need to purchase a $149 ‘Captain’s Platinum’ package which not only ensures you a refund if you want to cancel in the future but it also comes with a $150 accommodation discount and Price Drop Protection all the way up until Christmas Eve (if the price of your fare drops you’ll get the difference back).
The new cancellation cover will allow travellers to cancel their Europe booking for a full refund up until 8 weeks prior to departure and is valid for bookings made September 13 – November 18 on selected airlines.
