Want to know what Travel Counsellors has planned for the future? Wonder no longer, the home-based agency group is hosting three mini-conferences to highlight new developments and initiatives.

The events, taking place in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, will see almost 75 percent of all Travel Counsellors in attendance and will include a series of presentations and sessions from company staff and management, including those from both the Australian support team and UK head office.

These sessions will cover areas including upcoming marketing activity, business development and a focus on margin.

Commercial Director Kirsten Hughes will provide a main focus on the benefits of the company’s in-house booking system, Phenix, which puts agents in control of the products they sell and the margin they make. This includes some exciting announcements on how the company will be taking this system even further in 2016.

Australia Managing Director David Hughes said the event will benefit agents because they’ll get to see what the company is working on to enhance their support.

“We are confident our Travel Counsellors will leave the conferences feeling motivated, inspired and excited by the many initiatives we will be sharing.”

“It’s also a great way for our agents to come together, catch up and celebrate in the company’s ongoing success.”

Travel Counsellors will also be inviting travel professionals from outside of the company to attend the event and learn more about the business, as well as giving them the opportunity to meet and talk with head office staff and Travel Counsellor agents.

“This is a great opportunity for those who may be considering making the move to run their own travel business to learn more about what life is like as a Travel Counsellor and get a real flavor of our unique culture and ethos,” he added.

“We encourage anyone interested to come along.”

The Conferences will take place in Melbourne on 10 September, Sydney on 14 September and Brisbane on 15 September.
