No longer will you need a special ticket to attend the NTIA After Party, because this year AFTA has selected a venue capable of hosting all 1,272 Gala Dinner attendees.

The location for the event was revealed today, after months of industry speculation. It is… The Watershed in Darling Harbour.

In a statement to media, AFTA described it as one of Sydney’s hottest nightclub venues and said it was chosen because it can accommodate everyone attending this year’s Gala Dinner.

No doubt the event’s sponsors, Singapore Airlines, have big plans for the three-level venue that will keep Agents entertained and partying all through the night and to the early hours of the following morning.

Singapore Airlines’ Senior Manager Marketing and Alliances Australia, Dale Woodhouse, remains tight lipped on what consultants can expect, but said the airline looked forward to celebrating with industry partners and friends.

Singapore Airlines will also illustrate to guests that their airline isn’t just a great way to fly, they know how to celebrate too.

“The night provides us with the perfect opportunity to thank the industry for their continuing support.”

The NTIA After Party will kick off from 10.00pm until late on 16 July. Guests (who remember to wear their wrist bands) will receive a free drink voucher.

AFTA Chief Executive, Jayson Westbury, said there isn’t a more perfect venue for “the biggest celebration in the annual travel industry calendar”.

“When we were planning for this year’s event wanted to make it bigger and even more remarkable for guests.”
