Qantas and Jetstar Sale: Fares from $39 to take off in October

Based on current projections, NSW is on track to reach the 70 per cent vaccination target and domestic and regional travel to resume for the fully vaccinated from 18 October 2021.

So, if you’re jabbed and in desperate need of a break, you can get excited because Jetstar will be offering discounted fares ready for the state’s #ArrivalRevival, including $39 fares from Sydney to Byron Bay (Ballina) from midday on Friday 10 September.

Tens of thousands of discounted fares will also be available on a dozen Qantas routes from midnight Thursday 9 September on qantas.com.

Travel periods for the discounted fares for both Qantas and Jetstar are between 18 October and mid-December and mid-January to the end of March 2022.

The Qantas Group says if the reopening date is pushed back and customers are unable to travel, they will be able to make unlimited fee-free date changes as part of Qantas’ Fly Flexible policy*.

“We are offering discounted fares to make it even easier for people to get out and see their own backyard as well as see family and friends.”
