Qantas restarts direct, two-hour flights to Noumea, New Caledonia

Holidays in New Caledonia just got a lot easier and closer thanks to Qantas relaunching direct flights to Noumea from June 4.

Australians will be able to fly to Noumea from Brisbane in only 2 hours with the once-weekly flight from the June 4, and from Sydney in 2.5 hours three times per week from June 5.

A fourth weekly Sydney – Noumea flight will commence on 13 August. All services will be operated on Qantas Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

New Caledonia announced in March that it had dropped its quarantine requirements and reopened its borders. From May onwards, fully vaccinated Australians no longer needed to perform a RAT or PCR test prior to travel.
