Royal Caribbean reveals down under schedule for 2023 and beyond

Royal Caribbean International has announced that three of its award-winning ships, including a Down Under debut, will make for a summer splash in the Australian 2023-2024 cruising season.

Royal Caribbean International has announced that three of its award-winning ships, including a Down Under debut, will make for a summer splash in the Australian 2023-2024 cruising season.

Starting October 2023, Royal Caribbean International will begin its season of 2023-2024 Australia cruises, packed with returning favourites, firsts, and new itineraries. 

Ovation and Quantum of the Seas are set to return to Australia to sail from Brisbane and Sydney, with the season also welcoming a big Down Under debut with the arrival of Enchantment of the Seas, touting new destinations and itineraries from Sydney.

Guests can visit multiple destinations of 38 gems of the Southern Hemisphere from one day to the next, including locales along the rich coasts of Australia, the Land of the Long White Cloud and the postcard-perfect beaches of the South Pacific.

“It’s thrilling to welcome back two Quantum Class ships Down Under, demonstrating Royal Caribbean’s commitment to the region,” said Gavin Smith, managing director of Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean International.

“Plus, because there’s always more room for adventure with Royal Caribbean, we’ve taken the opportunity to bring Enchantment of the Seas to Australia to offer unique sailings that visit new destinations we know our guests are excited to explore.”

Quantum of the Seas

Guests cruising on Quantum of the Seas from Brisbane will be able to explore domestic destinations such as Airlie Beach and Cairns, Queensland; or discover the untouched beauty of the South Pacific by visiting places like Port Vila, Vanuatu, and Noumea, New Caledonia.

Ovation of the Seas, cruising from Sydney, will visit New Zealand’s rugged coastline stopping at Milford Sound, Wellington and Bay of Island, as well as Hobart, Adelaide and Eden; and the South Pacific islands.

Guests cruising from Sydney on Enchantment of the Seas can journey to Kangaroo Island and Gladstone, Australia, or escape to the South Pacific and visit Raiatea, French Polynesia; Isle of Pines, Mare; and Lifou, New Caledonia. 

A series of special cruises are also on Enchantment’s deck, including a Christmas cruise that features visits to locales along Australia’s Top End and West Coast, including Darwin, Exmouth and Fremantle.
