Rail Europe is hoping to make life a little easier for travel agents with the rollout of a new booking platform for agents that promises to “simplify” the booking process.

Known as “Easy Rail Access” or ERA the new dedicated B2B tool expects to give businesses more “agility” and in turn, drive market growth.

So how does it work?

ERA can be accessed via any web browser, providing agents with an international team on hand 24/7 to not only help with any queries but also “continuously evolve and improve the service and offers”.

ERA will processes tickets “swiftly and easily”.

Rail Europe’s General Manager Business APAC, Richard Leonard said the company’s priority was to remain ahead of the game in delivering intuitive and tailored services that address or even pre-empt the ever-changing travel landscape and meet the needs of agents, tour operators and travellers.

“More than two-thirds of Rail Europe’s business is driven by B2B sales, i.e. via agents and tour operator networks,” he said.

“By investing in cutting-edge technology, our priority is to deliver unrivalled user experience, instant access to real-time inventories and high-quality customer support to our agents.”
