Comfort, comfort, comfort all around Australia. Singapore Airlines’ entire fleet operating to & from Australia will be equipped with Premium Economy seats AND lie-flat Business Class from 1 November 2019.

Singapore Airlines made the announcement this week, saying Australia-wide premium seating will be available when the A350-900 moves onto the Melbourne-Singapore route.

In a statement, the carrier said the Melbourne route is the last Down Under to not offer Business Class and Premium Economy, which will change when the A350-900 operates on all 36 weekly flights to and from Victoria’s capital.

The carrier’s A350-900 features 42 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout providing each customer with direct aisle access. Each seat converts into a 78-inch fully-flat bed with cushioned headboard for greater sleeping comfort.

Business Class also has stowage designed to include a side console located above the armrest, which allows laptop storage in both seat and bed mode.
