SMASHING IT: Major recognition for Travel Counsellors' growth

For the fourth year running Travel Counsellors have been named in The Sunday Times UK Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table for their massive sales growth over the last 12 months.

For the fourth year running Travel Counsellors have been named in The Sunday Times UK Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table for their massive sales growth over the last 12 months.

The list is a prestigious ranking of Britain’s mid-market growth private companies with the biggest sales.

The independent global travel company has been climbing up the rankings each year, securing a position of No.121 in the latest edition, up from 125 in 2017.

The ranking recognises the company’s big rise in global sales, with total bookings made reaching AU $610 million in the first half of 2018, an increase of 12% from the same period in 2017.

Travel Counsellors CEO Steve Byrne said being featured on the list once again was a testament to the company’s “unwavering focus on customer care, building trusted relationships and creating outstanding leisure and corporate travel experiences”.

To be included in The Sunday Times list, companies must have operating margins that exceed 2% and sales must also be growing year-on-year by 5% or more for the highest turnover companies.
