If you’re not already totally across how The Rocky Mountaineer works, here’s a rundown. The stunning rail journey is offered along three different routes First Passage to the West, Journey through the Clouds and the Rainforest to Goldrush.

And yes they’re all equal parts spectacular and unforgettable.

First Passage to the West is the only passenger rail service on the historic route connecting Canada from East to West.

The journey takes travellers through Spiral Tunnels, crosses the Continental Divide and winds through mountain passes and dramatic canyons. And it is nothing short of breathtaking.

Described as “non-stop stunning” the Journey through the Clouds route travels through scenic valleys, along the mighty Fraser River, through Hell’s Gate, and past the magnificent Pyramid Falls.

Finally, the Rainforest to Goldrush adventure explores the mountain mecca of Whistler and reveals hidden lakes and canyons few others get to see. Relax in comfort as you move through seemingly impassable terrain.
