1. Christmas cards now

If that’s the case you need to place your order, buy stamps, check sizes, two weeks ago. Have your staff warm up their hands because it looks nice if you actually add a personal touch to the cards with a real signature.

2. Plan your non-availability
Some businesses close between Christmas and New Year’s. Others don’t. Is there a more boring few days of the year to work? No there is not. Is there a more upsetting few days of the year to work? No there is not. Do you really want to be working in between Christmas and New Year’s? No you do not.
Hint: He/She who has the best excuse with the greatest geographical spread has the best chance of not needing to be there. “I will be at the cricket” does not always cut it.
