Park Regis and Leisure Inn launch in Cocobay Da Nang, Vietnam

Park Regis and Leisure Inn have officially opened in Da Nang’s entertainment complex, Cocobay.
Both hotels offer access to a pristine private beach with full water sports facilities.
Park Regis Cocobay features 686 hotel suites ranging from one, two and three bedrooms, while Leisure Inn Cocobay includes 372 deluxe twin and double rooms.
The hotels each boast modern facilities from resort-style swimming pools with a poolside bar, all-day-dining restaurant, café and bakery. The Cocobay’ complex also possesses a kid’s club catering to the burgeoning family market.

Accor opens Mantra Mackay in Queensland

The eight-storey, 79-room hotel in central Queensland will rebrand as Mantra Mackay on 15 December 2019
Mantra Mackay, which was constructed in 2005 and stands on a prime waterfront site offering views over the Coral Sea, also features a restaurant and bar, fitness centre, swimming pool, four conference and meetings rooms and a business centre.
Accor Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said the acquisition of Mantra Mackay allowed the Group to increase its offering in one of Queensland’s fastest-growing coastal cities and complement its existing network.
“Mantra Mackay is one of the best properties in Mackay and this acquisition speaks to our confidence in the city’s future and the importance of securing well-positioned product in the market”.
Hilton Launches Tapestry Collection by Hilton Brand in Australasia
Hilton has announced the signing of The Modern Christchurch, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, marking the first signing and launch of the Tapestry Collection brand in Australasia.
The Modern will join Hilton’s portfolio of 27 hotels in Australasia presently operating under four brands, including Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton.
The hotel is slated to open in the third quarter of 2021.
Located in the heart of Christchurch’s CBD at 79 Hereford Street, The Modern will offer guest rooms with room sizes starting from 34 square meters, including 45 square meter Deluxe Suites. The property will also incorporate a ground floor restaurant and bar, fitness centre, and on-site parking.
