Back-Roads Touring’s 2025 season bookings achieved seven per cent higher revenue than last year during the recent Price Freeze promotion as travellers clambered aboard the Europe small-group trips with departures at 2024 prices and 18 per cent more seats available.
The most popular destinations during the promotion were Italy and the Mediterranean (up 16% year on year), France (up 15%) and UK & Ireland (up 6%) with the pre-summer period of April and May as the most-booked months for travel in 2025.
Some of the most sought-after tours for 2025 included the 13-day Italian Indulgence and The Emerald Isle small-group trips as well as the 11-day Highlights of Britain and eight-day Corners of Cornwall itineraries in the UK.
Back-Roads Touring’s 2025 season also includes more departures, allowing extra trip capacity and an additional 18 per cent more seats next year.

“This year the promotion launched earlier, ran longer and was seen over 8.3 million times across all our channels.
“Travel trends show travellers are continuing to make their plans to travel a priority and are eager to venture into less touristy spots as well as visiting important traditional holiday regions, such as Italy, Greece, France, and Spain, which is reflected in the demand and sales seen during the Price Freeze.”
