Intrepid Travel has launched a special 2026 Antarctica expedition voyage with new brand ambassador and Olympic gold medallist Noémie Fox for the chance to paddle alongside the Aussie canoe slalom champion and contribute to whale conservation.
Departing 9 March 2026, the one-of-a-kind experience will highlight Antarctica’s pristine landscapes, humpback whale migration and Fox’s inspiring journey to the Olympics.
The 11-day Best of Antarctica: Whale Journey itinerary aboard Ocean Nova includes the opportunity to kayak with Fox during the day paddle program, plus photograph whale flukes to help identify the cetaceans for the Happy Whale citizen science project.
In addition, travellers can explore on Zodiacs, see seals, penguins and other birdlife and learn from onboard polar experts. Prices start from AUD$14,940 for the roundtrip from Ushuaia.
